Martin Luther King Jr. once said that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. What is taking place in Sudan at this moment is an affront to civility and the very essence of our common humanity. When peaceful protestors who demand justice are mowed down by gunfire and indiscriminately killed by governments, it is the responsibility of all people, irrespective of nationality, faith or ideology to stand up on behalf of peace and justice.
To this end, a representative of Ethiopians for Constitutional Monarchy attended an event organized by local Sudanese youths in the DC Metro area to explain the genesis of the ongoing strife in Sudan. Below is recording of an event that was broadcasted live at Fairouz Lounge in Alexandria, Virginia.
